Random pictures of life at EBS.

I came to Norway 3 years ago and have had the most blessed time and experiences here at EBS, especially during the evangelism course and mission trip to Africa. The evangelism course helped me with many things that I was needing for a long time; to know my God more deeply, my bible and how to share my faith with others. One particular outreach day sticks in my mind. It was raining and we (my outreach partner and I) were without umbrellas and it was a little cold. After praying we went out in hope that the bad weather wouldnt effect our door to door work. The first two houses that we went to and did our surveys wanted to have bible studies! We were so excited and surprised that even though we had bad weather and it is not so often that in Western countries people want bible studies. It was this day that I understood that nothing can stop God´s work from being done. I really enjoyed door to door work and being able to just talk with people. I am glad for the opportunity to go on outreach.

When I applied to EBS I had read about the mission trip to Africa. For me it was a dream to think to travel to Africa and do mission work. We have a great God who is able to fulfill our dreams! It was in Africa that i realized that it is not money or a comfortable life that gives you true happiness. I saw with my own eyes that the African people were happy with their faith in Christ and having the opportunity to share their faith with others, even though they are poor and hungry. I will never forget  my time in Tanzania and I wish to return one day if that is Gods will.

I am thankful to God and all my friends I have made over the past 3 years. Working and studying together with people from so many different countries has the ability to impact your thinking, your lifestyle, your priorities and your social and spiritual growth. This has been my expereience and it is not finished just yet . . .
